A Finnish customer ordered wedge wire screen cylinders for installation in its own equipment. Although the customer's specific industry and processing stage were not identified, the required product structure and installation details were provided for production.
The cylinders use profile wires welded to supporting rods to form continuous and uniform slot openings. Compared with conventional perforated or slotted structures, this design provides a larger open area, controlled screening gaps and stable flow performance. Different edge, flange and reinforcement configurations can also be used to match the equipment connection and operating conditions.
For this project, the slot opening, cylinder diameter, overall length, support arrangement and end structure were reviewed together with the customer's equipment requirements. The construction details were then arranged to provide the required cylindrical stability and installation compatibility.
