Wedge wire screen filter baskets, also known as inline strainer baskets, are used in basket strainers. It has a top opening usually done horizontally or angled, and a flat bottom made of wedge wire. Wedge wire screen filter baskets have welded handles to the top for easy mounting/dismounting to equipment, as well as for securing and positioning. As fluid passes through the element and into the filter basket, solid impurity particles are retained in the basket and clean fluid passes through the basket and out of the filter outlet.
