Edge Types

We offer three types of connectors for screen tubes: standard, end ring, and flange. Standard screen cylinders have flat or unmodified edges and are typically used in applications where a simple and direct connection is required. End ring type screen tubes are used in applications where high mechanical stress or pressure is required. Flanged screen cylinders are designed with a flange at one or both ends for easy bolting or clamping of the screen into the appropriate equipment, and are wedge shaped tubes that are easy to remove and can be cleaned and maintained.

Reinforcement rod type and frame type, and ring type wedge wire screen cylinders can be adapted to strong and heavily load applications. Reinforcement rod type wedge wire screen cylinders are used in applications under high pressure or heavy loads. They are typically used in industrial processes with challenging operating conditions, such as dewatering, mining, and wastewater treatment. Frame types are typically used in applications where the screen needs to be securely mounted within the filter unit, such as drum filters, vibrating screens, or other filtration equipment.
