0.5 mm screen slots
We recently collaborated with a client from Singapore who required a Duplex stainless steel 2205 wedge wire strainer for nut shell washing filters.
The client showed us a previously purchased wedge wire strainer from another source, which had low strength and was prone to breakage. They needed to add internal reinforcement rings to address this issue.
After contacting several suppliers, they either quoted prices beyond the budget or informed that the sieve tube diameter was too small and the length too long, making it impossible to weld internal reinforcement rings in the middle section of the sieve tube.
To address their concerns, we showcased photos of similar products we had previously manufactured and provided detailed drawings. The client was highly satisfied with our proposed solution, and our pricing was within their expectations.
The customer was very satisfied after receiving our products.
Our wedge wire screen strainer is available in various styles, with this particular model serving as a nut shell filter. As the liquid passes through the media bed, oil and solids are effectively retained within the bed and can be easily backwashed from the media bed through the rotation of the media washing assembly.
They find widespread application in industries such as petroleum, natural gas, refining, and chemical processing, enabling the purification of oil-laden process water and industrial wastewater. For instance, it is used to remove suspended solids and hydrocarbons from produced water, surface water, seawater, rivers, lakes, and well water, as well as to treat and remove suspended solids, oil residues, ash content, and metal hydroxides from industrial liquids.
