How do we successfully solve the client requirements and improve their filtration process?

• First of all, we receiving from clients asking for the strainer, and the client sent the following destructed strainer, we understand the client initial needs that they had built an oil water treatment system and were now facing issues problems with their walnut filters and needed to replace the old with new strainer, and mentioned that the strainer should be designed up to 6.5 bar inlet pressure to avoid strainer destruction.

• Combined with the strainer current situation and pictures, after confirming with the technician who has many years of production experience, the product can reach 6.5 bar, we made two plans for the client.

  • Plan A features high-precision screen wires and support wires that ensure a longer product life and meet client pressure requirements without any cracking.
  • Plan B has the same specifications as Plan A, but with the addition of a 159mm diameter and 2mm thickness perforated tube welded outside the screen tube, this makes the screen tube stronger, provided that flow rate allows for it, as it will affect the flow rate.
• As the client verified the flow rate, the client sent their filtration system drawings, and our technicians checked the drawings again, and confirmed there was no problem with the flow rate. In addition, we seem to have found the key to the destruction strainer that the walnut filter was from the inside to the outside and we think the reason for the cracking of the previous product is that the walnut filter was from the inside to the outside, while the screen was from the outside to the inside. Over time, the perforated tube and the screen are easily blocked by fibers or other things, causing the screen to crack. We suggest to the client that the flow direction of the screen should also be from the inside to the outside this time. Soon we got feedback from our client.
• Finally we updated the drawings and quotations for the client, we recommend and quote material duplex stainless steel, the strength of duplex stainless steel is higher than many traditional stainless steels, and it can withstand greater loads and pressures. In high temperature environments, it exhibits strong oxidation resistance and is suitable for high temperature applications. Its corrosion resistance and durability can reduce maintenance and replacement costs, and has better economic benefits.
• After checking the final production drawing, the client recognized our work and carried out our first cooperation. After receiving the payment from the client, the product began to be produced.
